California
ACH Week
California ACH Week is a statewide week of stories, knowledge sharing, and collective action from the 36 Accountable Communities for Health working across 27 California counties.

What is California ACH Week?
An Accountable Community for Health (ACH) is a table, a standing partnership where residents, community organizations, clinics, hospitals, schools, and county agencies develop shared priorities and strategies, and make decisions together about the health of their community. There are 36 ACHs across California, and California ACH Week is the first statewide celebration dedicated to highlighting this work and its impact.
Each day is organized around a theme and will include community stories, online and in-person events, and a featured webinar open to the public. This is an exciting opportunity to see what community-centered, collaborative infrastructure can do for the health and wellbeing of communities and how the statewide ACH network is improving systems and advancing equity at the local, regional, and state levels.
Daily Themes
Community voice, impact, and knowledge
How trust is built and how ACHs serve as trusted infrastructure

Health Happens Together:
An LA ACH Gallery Walk

In celebration of California ACH Week, join us for Health Happens Together: An LA ACH Gallery Walk, a special showcase highlighting the work and impact of three Accountable Communities for Health (ACHs) serving communities across Los Angeles County: Compton Healthy, Community Response System of South Los Angeles (CRSSLA), and One San Pedro Alliance. Through an interactive gallery walk, guests will have the opportunity to meet local ACH leaders, learn about their work and accomplishments, and see how community residents and partners are working together across sectors to improve health and well-being in their communities.
This event will offer an opportunity to learn firsthand about the ACH model, hear what communities are experiencing, and explore how policymakers and partners can support and strengthen this work.

Shaping the Future of
California's Health

California communities are under pressure with new Medi-Cal and CalFresh enrollment barriers, the impacts of immigration enforcement, and cuts to services people rely on. As the state prepares for new leadership and decisions about the future of health and well-being, how do communities move from responding to those decisions to shaping them?
Join a conversation about what puts communities at the center: the relationships, partnerships, and infrastructure that turn local knowledge into collective action. Drawing on the experience of California’s Accountable Communities for Health (ACHs) and partners across health care, public health, policy, and community-based organizations, we’ll explore what it takes to respond together today while building the community voice and influence needed to shape what comes next.
